Dennis Kapteina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 20th minute, Robin Bayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thorsten Kamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thorsten Kamme might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Kapteina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorsten Kamme ran back to his position shaking his head. Thorsten Kamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Kapteina having to interfere. When Björn Grasser fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niedergrützenbach FSV's protests and gave Björn Grasser a yellow card for diving instead. Björn Grasser hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Thorsten Kamme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dennis Kapteina, 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Niederembt FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Joel-Benjamin Hörholdt came free, but Sebastian Timm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Mattias Krabbe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel-Benjamin Hörholdt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Kapteina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Kamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Niedergrützenbach FSV's zone, Thorsten Kamme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Kapteina came out of the goal and Thorsten Kamme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Kapteina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorsten Kamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorsten Kamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Kapteina having to interfere. Dennis Kapteina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Kamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Niederembt FSV got a freekick which was hit by Robin Bayer. After 76 played minutes Niedergrützenbach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Fielmann. After some careless play in the Niedergrützenbach FSV defense, Thorsten Kamme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Kapteina. The Niedergrützenbach FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Kapteina should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Benjamin Sondermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel-Benjamin Hörholdt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Niederembt FSV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Niedergrützenbach FSV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
