Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felix Meyers got the match started through his kick off. Horst-Peter Tannhof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Peter Novak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Brandhorst got a freekick which was hit by Peter Tierse. Horst-Peter Tannhof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Brandhorst's Hansjörg Rinnerer in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geroda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hansjörg Rinnerer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ingo Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Felix Meyers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brandhorst's Heinrich Linz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Brandhorst getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Raphael Thömmes hit a great ball. Jan-Niclas von Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Niclas von Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matthias Kuhnz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ingo Engel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geroda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingo Engel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heinrich Linz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute, Ingo Engel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heinrich Linz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingo Engel in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heinrich Linz saved Brandhorst from getting behind. Brandhorst's Tom Blau shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Peter Novak but with some difficulty. After 67 played minutes Geroda FC got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Burmeister. If Ingo Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geroda FC's Ingo Engel got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brandhorst's Heinrich Linz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingo Engel in the 80th minute of play. When Brandhorst's Horst-Peter Tannhof in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geroda FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Peter Tierse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Novak was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When Felix Meyers came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Geroda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Meyers couldn't finish the play. If Ingo Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julien Harneit during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Brandhorst got a freekick which was hit by Julien Harneit. Geroda FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
