Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andy Hörsting started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Utscheid FSV got a freekick which was hit by Robin Konig. Ryan Germann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Bernhard having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryan Germann in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steve Bernhard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ingolf Roppel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Utscheid FSV's Arne Schelberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stephan Dabrock but with some difficulty. In the 17th minute, Utscheid FSV's Nick Steigelmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stephan Dabrock. Stephan Dabrock yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Boris Ziegler charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Ziegler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Polonia Neu-Ulm booed when Utscheid FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Ziegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the game, Nick Steigelmann landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 28 minutes, Stefano Henrich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia Neu-Ulm and the Utscheid FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Polonia Neu-Ulm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Henrich to maneuver through the defense. If Stefano Henrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albert Blank kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Polonia Neu-Ulm's Benjamin Huff tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Germann in the 38th minute of play forced Utscheid FSV's goalkeeper Steve Bernhard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Ryan Germann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polonia Neu-Ulm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Robin Konig hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Stefano Henrich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryan Germann to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Ryan Germann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Neu-Ulm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Germann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steve Bernhard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefano Henrich went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Steve Bernhard made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ryan Germann sent off a good shot on target. Utscheid FSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Stefano Henrich scored to the left of an out of position Steve Bernhard, making the score, 1-3. Steve Bernhard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryan Germann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. If Stefano Henrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Polonia Neu-Ulm's Ryan Germann got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Utscheid FSV's Karl-Heinz Hasse got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Utscheid FSV's goalkeeper Steve Bernhard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Addo Hipp. In the 76th minute, Ryan Germann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Steve Bernhard. The goal made the score 1-5. Stefano Henrich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Polonia Neu-Ulm's Stefano Henrich got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ettore Plückebaum's late challenge caught a Utscheid FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Plückebaum helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Ettore Plückebaum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Utscheid FSV's Robin Konig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephan Dabrock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Steve Bernhard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Henrich in the 95th minute of the match. Polonia Neu-Ulm's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
