Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Utscheid FSV's Andy Hörsting started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andy Hörsting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni Schüring having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Boris Ziegler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Utscheid FSV and the Droßkau FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Utscheid FSV getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Boris Ziegler hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Droßkau FSV's Bernd Plappert got a free kick in the 6th minute. Karl-Heinz Hasse's late challenge caught a Droßkau FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Heinz Hasse helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Utscheid FSV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 16th minute, Jonas Kozub fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Steve Bernhard, passed just outside the right post. Oliver Rauh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Bernhard having to interfere. If Jonas Kozub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Nick Steigelmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Utscheid FSV and the Droßkau FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nick Steigelmann hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Jonas Kozub dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Steve Bernhard, 2-0. Steve Bernhard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Rauh in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Droßkau FSV's Jonas Kozub slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Steve Bernhard. That made the score 3-0 after 45 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Kozub stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Robin Konig came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Utscheid FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Konig couldn't finish the play. Toni Schüring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Hörsting in the 53rd minute of the match. Utscheid FSV's Steve Bernhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Rauh in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Droßkau FSV's Jonas Kozub sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steve Bernhard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Reichert during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Droßkau FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Reichert to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Utscheid FSV booed when Droßkau FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Philipp Geiß didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jan-Philipp Geiß fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Droßkau FSV's protests and gave Jan-Philipp Geiß a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Droßkau FSV got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Philipp Geiß. After a defensive mix-up in Utscheid FSV's zone, Oliver Rauh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steve Bernhard came out of the goal and Oliver Rauh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Kozub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Utscheid FSV's Lucas Brümmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toni Schüring narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oliver Rauh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Bernhard having to interfere. Jan-Philipp Geiß struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Steve Bernhard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Droßkau FSV. Steve Bernhard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Kozub, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Droßkau FSV were the better team. Droßkau FSV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
