Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arne Goldmann got the match started through his kick off. Rainer Niemeyer made a great header on Quelitz's corner, it was just that CA Boca Juniors's Marcel Forberger managed to reach the ball for a save. When CA Boca Juniors's Ergün Molau in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quelitz's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute Ergün Molau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Werner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Werner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergün Molau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA Boca Juniors's Batho Schebesta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Steven Kupke in the 21 minute of the game. Ergün Molau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Werner having to interfere. When Bernd Bartsch came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the CA Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernd Bartsch couldn't finish the play. CA Boca Juniors's Marcel Forberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Goldmann in the 34th minute of play. Lars Schwemm's late challenge caught a CA Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Schwemm helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quelitz's Lars Schwemm got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Ergün Molau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ergün Molau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernd Bartsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Werner having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ergün Molau to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Quelitz's zone, Louis Rittel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Werner came out of the goal and Louis Rittel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Rittel struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Björn Werner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Boca Juniors. After a defensive mix-up in CA Boca Juniors's zone, Arne Goldmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Forberger came out of the goal and Arne Goldmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CA Boca Juniors's Uwe Hinsken was substituted for Ergün Molau. Uwe Hinsken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Björn Werner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christoph Hensel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Björn Werner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Christoph Hensel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoph Hensel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Quelitz's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Schmitt-Illert came free, but Björn Werner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Uwe Hinsken notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quelitz's Björn Werner. Björn Werner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st match minute, Quelitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Krüger to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Quelitz's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Schmitt-Illert came free, but Björn Werner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uwe Hinsken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Björn Werner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Quelitz's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Hinsken came free, but Björn Werner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Lars Schwemm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Schmitt-Illert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Björn Werner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Quelitz's Björn Werner got control of the ball when Tobias Schmitt-Illert tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Uwe Hinsken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CA Boca Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
