Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gerd Klassen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Stefan Hitzlsperger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerd Klassen might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats-Alexander Gross. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerd Klassen ran back to his position shaking his head. Mats-Alexander Gross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th match minute, Brinkmann FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Hitzlsperger to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Behlau in the 14th minute of play forced Vinnum City's goalkeeper Leo Schnackenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerd Klassen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Mats-Alexander Gross made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Stefan Hitzlsperger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Schnackenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats-Alexander Gross having to interfere. Leo Schnackenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Behlau in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Vinnum City got a freekick which was hit by Igor Zick. Vinnum City's Leo Schnackenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Behlau in the 36th minute of play. When Stefan Hitzlsperger fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brinkmann FSV's protests and gave Stefan Hitzlsperger a yellow card for diving instead. Torsten Schikowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats-Alexander Gross having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Schnackenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Behlau, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Behlau was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Vinnum City's Leo Schnackenberg got control of the ball when Benjamin Fuchs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerd Klassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mats-Alexander Gross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats-Alexander Gross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats-Alexander Gross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerd Klassen in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Brinkmann FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Hitzlsperger to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Gerd Klassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats-Alexander Gross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Fuchs kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mats-Alexander Gross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerd Klassen in the 81st minute of play. Leo Schnackenberg made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Benjamin Fuchs sent off a good shot on target. Brinkmann FSV's Mats-Alexander Gross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerd Klassen in the 92nd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
