Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Behlau started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Damian Behlau fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Johannes Motz, passed just outside the right post. In the 5th minute, Damian Behlau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Motz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jan-Philipp Schmiedel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Ritschel in the 12th minute of play forced Brinkmann FSV's goalkeeper Mats-Alexander Gross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sven Höfgen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Dolsenhain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Höfgen couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes of play, Brinkmann FSV's Benjamin Fuchs made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Motz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Behlau had several of the Dolsenhain's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Johannes Motz as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 32nd match minute, Dolsenhain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Kickermann to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 34 in the game by Benjamin Fuchs from a close distance when the talented Johannes Motz managed to make a qualified save. Dolsenhain's players were relieved. Brinkmann FSV's Damian Behlau got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mats-Alexander Gross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Ritschel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Benjamin Fuchs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Johannes Motz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dolsenhain's goalkeeper Johannes Motz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Behlau in the 49th minute of play forced Dolsenhain's goalkeeper Johannes Motz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Höfgen was the one to do the kick off. Matthias Ritschel succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Damian Behlau scored 5-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Motz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sven Höfgen came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Dolsenhain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Höfgen couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Sven Höfgen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mats-Alexander Gross. Sven Höfgen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. If Sven Höfgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Behlau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Motz having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Damian Behlau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Tim Wisgalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthias Ritschel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats-Alexander Gross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Höfgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Brinkmann FSV's David Nellessen got a free kick in the 97th minute. After having played for 99 minutes, Sven Höfgen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolsenhain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Höfgen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
