Sibratshofen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Winfried Emmerich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benny Goldmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo-Jan Vieth in the 8th minute of the match. Boris Itzigsohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Goldmann having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Sibratshofen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo-Jan Vieth came free, but Benny Goldmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sibratshofen FC's Winfried Emmerich got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Bookhof's goal looked a bit too open when Winfried Emmerich came free, but Robert Foerster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron Bruckner struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Robert Foerster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sibratshofen FC. Robert Foerster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winfried Emmerich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Boris Itzigsohn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bookhof's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Itzigsohn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benny Goldmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sibratshofen FC's goalkeeper Benny Goldmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo-Jan Vieth made a kick off. Benny Goldmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo-Jan Vieth in the 55th minute of the match. Benny Goldmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo-Jan Vieth went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Ron Bruckner came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sibratshofen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron Bruckner couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bookhof getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Walter Richter hit a great ball. Ron Bruckner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Robert Foerster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bookhof's Dieter Benetiz-Volkwein got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
