The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jacob Otte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Ellar FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Heinrich Furchner came free, but Leo Kerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mel Windhausen in the 10th minute of play forced FC Peging's goalkeeper Morten Trittin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heinrich Furchner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Kerber having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, FC Peging's Ernesto Xabier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Kerber was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, FC Peging's goalkeeper Morten Trittin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Felchle. 29 minutes into the match, Heinrich Furchner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Kerber. Ellar FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heinrich Furchner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ernesto Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morten Trittin made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Marcel Felchle sent off a good shot on target. Leo Kerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinrich Furchner in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ernesto Xabier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Morten Trittin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Felchle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mel Windhausen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Morten Trittin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Mathis Vogel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Morten Trittin skillfully saved the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Peging walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
