Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christoph Kaufhold started the match with the kick off. Einemhof's Roland Werlich got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 10 minutes on the clock, Jannick Öchsle commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Einemhof fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! After 17 played minutes Einemhof got a freekick which was hit by Sigmund Bansemir. Einemhof's Yildiray Remmers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Birmes in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Christoph Kaufhold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Einemhof's Yildiray Remmers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When WATTENSCHEID's Christoph Kaufhold in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Einemhof's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, Jan Birmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yildiray Remmers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 37thth minute of the game Christoph Kaufhold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Einemhof's Yildiray Remmers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yildiray Remmers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Kaufhold, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Einemhof getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sigmund Bansemir hit a great ball. If Theo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, WATTENSCHEID's Neo Wünsche got a free kick in the 45th minute. The supporters of Einemhof booed when WATTENSCHEID was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Heintz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half WATTENSCHEID were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theo Thomas to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Jan Birmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yildiray Remmers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einemhof's Yildiray Remmers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Einemhof from getting a goal against them. Christoph Kaufhold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yildiray Remmers having to interfere. When Jan Birmes fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WATTENSCHEID's protests and gave Jan Birmes a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Birmes in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yildiray Remmers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sigmund Bansemir fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Einemhof's protests and gave Sigmund Bansemir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Einemhof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigmund Bansemir to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Einemhof got a freekick which was hit by Helmar Brunkhorst. The supporters of WATTENSCHEID booed when Einemhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigmund Bansemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Einemhof's goalkeeper Yildiray Remmers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Thomas in the 81st minute of play forced WATTENSCHEID's goalkeeper Richard Thieltges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Birmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Einemhof's Yildiray Remmers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Einemhof from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the game, Niels Tempel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WATTENSCHEID's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Einemhof the free kick. After 90 played minutes WATTENSCHEID got a freekick which was hit by Niels Tempel. After a rather tough play, WATTENSCHEID's Jan Birmes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Jan Birmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yildiray Remmers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Yildiray Remmers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Einemhof's zone, Jan Birmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yildiray Remmers came out of the goal and Jan Birmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. WATTENSCHEID's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
