Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Illerich FC's Florian Mies started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Knut Henke took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldur Haug. Baldur Haug dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Tore Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tunzenhausen's attentive Alexander Holthausen managed to snatch the ball when Arthur Schlagwein made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Illerich FC's zone, Ingbert Bäz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldur Haug came out of the goal and Ingbert Bäz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Knut Henke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunzenhausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Henke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tunzenhausen getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alf Schmidhuber hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Tunzenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Zientarski came free, but Ansgar Sell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Knut Henke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tore Müller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldur Haug having to make a save. Ingbert Bäz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Baldur Haug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakobus Neffin to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Tunzenhausen's Ingbert Bäz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldur Haug made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Tore Müller took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldur Haug. Baldur Haug dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Illerich FC's Baldur Haug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingbert Bäz in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Illerich FC's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Henke came free, but Baldur Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Knut Henke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldur Haug. Illerich FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knut Henke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ibo Gruhn during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ibo Gruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Illerich FC's Ibo Gruhn got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Ibo Gruhn off the ground. Ibo Gruhn hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Ingbert Bäz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mario Miss came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tunzenhausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Miss couldn't finish the play. Tunzenhausen's Ingbert Bäz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Miss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldur Haug having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Illerich FC's zone, Ingbert Bäz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldur Haug came out of the goal and Ingbert Bäz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ingbert Bäz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Illerich FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Tunzenhausen. Jakobus Neffin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldur Haug. 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tunzenhausen had played much better football throughout.
