But to his dismay, Jakobus Neffin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute, Nils Decker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Knut Henke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Henzler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Henke in the 34th minute of play forced Brüggemann's goalkeeper Florian Henzler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jakobus Neffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knut Henke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Henzler having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 54th minute Tunzenhausen were awarded a corner. With a little luck, Brüggemann's Florian Henzler got control of the ball when Mario Miss tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Ingbert Bäz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Brüggemann's Florian Henzler. Florian Henzler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakobus Neffin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Brüggemann fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tunzenhausen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
