Ulf Frach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timo Kleimeier's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Jonathan Aumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Gatzke, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes Koslar got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Behloch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Gatzke in the 15th minute of play forced Koslar's goalkeeper Jonathan Aumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Aumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Grebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoph Odemer got free with Ulf Frach in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timo Kleimeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ulf Frach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoph Odemer struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ulf Frach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koslar. Christoph Odemer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Aumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Grebe in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Roland Grebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Aumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Koslar getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ulrich Theunissen hit a great ball. Dominik Baer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jonathan Aumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Grebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Christoph Odemer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Frach having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Christoph Odemer made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Frach. Frankenhausen FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Frankenhausen FSV defense, Timo Kleimeier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Frach. The Frankenhausen FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Frach should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Thorben Schulzki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frankenhausen FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koslar the free kick. Thorben Schulzki hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Christoph Odemer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Frach having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Koslar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Baer to maneuver through the defense. Timo Kleimeier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulf Frach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Roland Grebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frankenhausen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Grebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Aumann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Aumann made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Roland Grebe sent off a good shot on target.
