Elmar Schmitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crotta. With his leg Erno Günes managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Roppershain FSV's Javier Lindlohr fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erno Günes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horst Jaeschke in the 9th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Bastian Biehl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crotta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horst Jaeschke in the 26th minute of play forced Crotta's goalkeeper Erno Günes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Roppershain FSV booed when Crotta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Sebastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Thomas Neumer in the 30th minute really tested Erno Günes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bastian Biehl took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elmar Schmitz. Elmar Schmitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edmund Hecke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Erno Günes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 41st match minute, Crotta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Weber to maneuver through the defense. Erno Günes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Edmund Hecke sent off a good shot on target. Bastian Biehl struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Erno Günes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horst Jaeschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Edmund Hecke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erno Günes. Crotta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Hecke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Eddi Apfel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmar Schmitz having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Bastian Biehl notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Roppershain FSV's Elmar Schmitz. Elmar Schmitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Crotta's Bastian Biehl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elmar Schmitz. That made the score 1-4 after 81 minutes of play. 86 minutes into the game, Roppershain FSV's Horst Jaeschke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erno Günes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Erno Günes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horst Jaeschke in the 90th minute of the match. Erno Günes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arved Otabo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Elmar Schmitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Ripp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Arved Otabo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roppershain FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4.
