One of Frank Football:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oldenbüttel:s goal. 12 minutes into the match, Julius Seligmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Iraitz. Frank Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julius Seligmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 18 minutes, Gunter Fochler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oldenbüttel and the Frank Football players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Frank Football getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Yves Anders hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Oldenbüttel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Warnst to maneuver through the defense. The goalkeeper, Bert Becker, was totally fooled by Frank Football's Gerd Pflug, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the final whistle sounded Frank Football left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oldenbüttel.
