Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) KFC Hansa's Joost Schlüter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Matthias Reiter managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Hansa's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Reiter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Drews breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Bieberkopf in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ole Per Köppen saved KFC Hansa from getting behind. With a little luck, Fisching's Kristian Drews got control of the ball when Matthias Reiter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match KFC Hansa got a corner. Fisching's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christoph Narr ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led KFC Hansa's Gary Hänssler to a score. 1-0 in the 13th minute. Matthias Reiter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Drews having to interfere. Matthias Reiter struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Kristian Drews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Hansa. KFC Hansa's Ole Per Köppen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raffael Päzel in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the KFC Hansa defense, Alfred Bieberkopf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ole Per Köppen. The KFC Hansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ole Per Köppen should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Bieberkopf to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Klement Genz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ole Per Köppen, passed just outside the right post. Kristian Drews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joost Schlüter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klement Genz during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Fisching was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Genz to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Drews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost Schlüter in the 66th minute of the match. Alfred Bieberkopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ole Per Köppen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, KFC Hansa's Ole Per Köppen got control of the ball when Klement Genz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Fisching's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Glöckner came free, but Kristian Drews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fisching eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
