In the 9th minute, Klemens Gölz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Curt Zutt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 13th minute Luigi Kursawe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Zutt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Jursch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Zutt having to interfere. Curt Zutt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Ehses in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Niederkell defense, Klemens Gölz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Curt Zutt. The Niederkell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Curt Zutt should have stopped the shot. Curt Zutt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klemens Gölz in the 22nd minute of the match. Luigi Kursawe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niederkell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Ehses was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luigi Kursawe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Curt Zutt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Bastian Jursch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Curt Zutt. Niederkell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastian Jursch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Bastian Jursch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Luigi Kursawe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Curt Zutt. Niederkell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luigi Kursawe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Curt Zutt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luigi Kursawe in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bastian Jursch made a kick off. Curt Zutt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bastian Jursch in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Niederkell's goalkeeper Curt Zutt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bastian Jursch. Günter Hirschberg's late challenge caught a Schmerold's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Günter Hirschberg helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Luigi Kursawe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Curt Zutt was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Günter Hirschberg was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th minute, Günter Hirschberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curt Zutt made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bastian Jursch sent off a good shot on target. Curt Zutt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Ehses in the 62nd minute. Bastian Jursch took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Curt Zutt. Curt Zutt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Adolf Ammermann hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Klemens Gölz notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Niederkell's Curt Zutt. Curt Zutt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Curt Zutt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luigi Kursawe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute of the match, Klemens Gölz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Curt Zutt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
