A collision led to SV Ruhpolding getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tobias Lillge hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Süsel's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeo Kruber came free, but Dennis Mensinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frans Pässler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Karl in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Oscar Walcher made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Mensinger. Süsel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dennis Mensinger came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Ruhpolding's Tobias Lillge. But to his dismay, Tobias Lillge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tobias Lillge struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dennis Mensinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Ruhpolding. Dennis Mensinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeo Kruber in the 19th minute of play. Dennis Mensinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konrad Hermes went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dennis Mensinger came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Ruhpolding's Ken Wunderlich. But to his dismay, Ken Wunderlich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. SV Ruhpolding's Tobias Lillge got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Konrad Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Mensinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berthold Stracke charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berthold Stracke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, SV Ruhpolding was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berthold Stracke to maneuver through the defense. Henning Jonas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frans Pässler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Dennis Mensinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Lillge's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Dennis Mensinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Walcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Dennis Mensinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Wunderlich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delron Däschner made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friedrich Karl in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frans Pässler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Lillge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Dennis Mensinger made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Bartolomeo Kruber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dennis Mensinger. The goal made the score 0-7. Ken Wunderlich hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of SV Ruhpolding booed when Süsel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Martin Funk didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeo Kruber in the 69th minute of play forced Süsel's goalkeeper Dennis Mensinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Bartolomeo Kruber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Mensinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Dennis Mensinger made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Süsel's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeo Kruber came free, but Dennis Mensinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Mensinger made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tobias Lillge sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeo Kruber in the 95th minute of play forced Süsel's goalkeeper Dennis Mensinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Süsel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SV Ruhpolding were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
