Richard Fettinger hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Georg Ehses walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 8th minute, Bastian Jursch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Oscar Walcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Kliemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Jursch in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frans Pässler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luigi Kursawe kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Schmerold got a freekick which was hit by Julius Feike. Bernhard Kliemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Walcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, SV Ruhpolding's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Jursch came free, but Frans Pässler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bastian Jursch took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frans Pässler. Frans Pässler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Klemens Gölz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Frans Pässler made a huge save. The supporters of SV Ruhpolding booed when Schmerold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willi Koslowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. SV Ruhpolding's Frans Pässler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SV Ruhpolding from getting a goal against them. Schmerold's Bernhard Kliemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Ruge in the 37th minute of play. Willi Koslowski kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frans Pässler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SV Ruhpolding's Frans Pässler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Ehses in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bastian Jursch to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luigi Kursawe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute of the match Schmerold got a corner. SV Ruhpolding's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Georg Ehses ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Schmerold booed when SV Ruhpolding was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Ruge didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Ehses in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Pässler saved SV Ruhpolding from getting behind. Georg Ehses recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Schmerold were furious when Ewald Schmid was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 75th minute of the match Oscar Walcher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernhard Kliemann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SV Ruhpolding defense, Georg Ehses kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frans Pässler. The SV Ruhpolding fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frans Pässler should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes SV Ruhpolding got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Ruge. SV Ruhpolding's Frans Pässler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Ehses in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Luigi Kursawe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Klemens Gölz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frans Pässler. SV Ruhpolding's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klemens Gölz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Luigi Kursawe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schmerold's supporters rose to their feet, but Luigi Kursawe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Pässler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frans Pässler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Ehses in the 95th minute of play. SV Ruhpolding's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
