The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Klaus Schamaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Fritzdorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Benedetto Brunnhuber came free, but Alessandro Donnerbauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Donnerbauer was a little too slow when Konstantin Steffen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Galen to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Karamanspor's Konstantin Steffen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Donnerbauer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
