The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Schlein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th match minute, Hillsbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serkan Schneidewind to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jiri Aschinger sped through Hillsbach's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albert Schlein. A collision led to Hillsbach getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Serkan Schneidewind hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Mayr in the 36th minute of play forced Karamanspor's goalkeeper Nico Nitsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
