Gunter Steinfurth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Borretty having to interfere. Manchester of United's Anton Schnarrenberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arp Menzel in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Manchester of United getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Artur Heuer hit a great ball. Anton Schnarrenberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Degner in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Gunter Steinfurth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gerd Borretty was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 played minutes Neu Holthausen got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Prey. Gunter Steinfurth did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Gerd Borretty 20 minutes into the match. Gunter Steinfurth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Schnarrenberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Raich in the 28th minute of play. Anton Schnarrenberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arp Menzel in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute Luke Raich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Schnarrenberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester of United's zone, Halil Wolber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Schnarrenberger came out of the goal and Halil Wolber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Gunter Steinfurth recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerd Borretty. Gunter Steinfurth showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Anton Schnarrenberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Raich, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Anton Schnarrenberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Raich in the 48th minute of the match.
Halil Wolber's late challenge caught a Manchester of United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halil Wolber helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Neu Holthausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Wolber to maneuver through the defense. Gerd Borretty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunter Steinfurth's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunter Steinfurth in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerd Borretty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute Gunter Steinfurth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Borretty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Manchester of United's Anton Schnarrenberger got control of the ball when Arp Menzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Manchester of United's Gunter Steinfurth in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neu Holthausen's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Raich in the 69th minute of play forced Manchester of United's goalkeeper Anton Schnarrenberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arp Menzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Anton Schnarrenberger made a huge save. Lars Oliver Wentzel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Manchester of United's Lars Oliver Wentzel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Manchester of United's Anton Schnarrenberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Raich in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Artur Heuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester of United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Heuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arp Menzel charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arp Menzel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Manchester of United booed when Neu Holthausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arp Menzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Neu Holthausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Raich to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes, Florian Gieß made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Neu Holthausen's Gerd Borretty tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luke Raich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Anton Schnarrenberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Florian Gieß managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester of United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Gieß was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Neu Holthausen's Luke Raich ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anton Schnarrenberger. Anton Schnarrenberger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Neu Holthausen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manchester of United.
