FC Selb's Issa Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Dorn in the 3rd minute of play. Mittelort were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after FC Selb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cem Özdemir took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cem Özdemir in the 9th minute of play forced FC Selb's goalkeeper Issa Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Selb getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ulf Riessle hit a great ball. FC Selb's Issa Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Görlitz in the 14th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Winfried Mühlhäuser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Selb's Issa Casillas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Mittelort were awarded a corner. Cem Özdemir went to the cornerflag to take it. Issa Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winfried Mühlhäuser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Mittelort got a corner. FC Selb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cem Özdemir ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 27 minutes FC Selb's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cem Özdemir who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cem Özdemir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Issa Casillas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute, Wim Hägele reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moises Abeijon. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Mittelort booed when FC Selb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudius Numberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Selb booed when Mittelort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Selb's Issa Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Dorn in the 40th minute of play. Moises Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Hägele in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Jeremy Dorn made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Wim Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremy Dorn got free with Issa Casillas in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Selb were furious when Claudius Numberger was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of FC Selb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mittelort:s goal. Issa Casillas was a little too slow when Jeremy Dorn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. Artur Görlitz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Artur Görlitz was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Issa Casillas made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cem Özdemir sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Wim Hägele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Abeijon was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When FC Selb's Wim Hägele in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mittelort's goalie prevented a goal. When Winfried Mühlhäuser came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mittelort fans jumped to their feet. In the 80th match minute, Mittelort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winfried Mühlhäuser to maneuver through the defense. FC Selb's Issa Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Selb from getting a goal against them. Mittelort's Moises Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Hägele in the 84th minute of play. Issa Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winfried Mühlhäuser in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of FC Selb booed when Mittelort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torben Rohe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Mittelort's Issa Casillas threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Winfried Mühlhäuser, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mittelort players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
