Artur Görlitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Bürsch having to interfere. Winfried Mühlhäuser succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Mittelort's Jeremy Dorn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Werner Bürsch. That made the score 6-0 after 41 minutes of play. With his leg Werner Bürsch managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Mittelort's Jeremy Dorn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 48th minute, Jorge Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
