Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeremy Wenzel made the kick off which started today's match. Wim Hägele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Bürsch having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Hägele in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Werner Bürsch saved Unterhaching from getting behind. Werner Bürsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Riessle in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Kassian Rutkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Werner Bürsch came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Selb's Ulf Riessle. But to his dismay, Ulf Riessle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Unterhaching booed when FC Selb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jafar Glaubach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Hägele took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Werner Bürsch. Werner Bürsch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Aurel Dobre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Werner Bürsch. Unterhaching's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Dobre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Werner Bürsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Riessle in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Aurel Dobre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulf Riessle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Werner Bürsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Schulz charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Schulz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olaf Schulz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Hägele in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Werner Bürsch saved Unterhaching from getting behind. FC Selb's Issa Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frieder Eckhardt in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Werner Bürsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Dobre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, FC Selb's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Wenzel came free, but Issa Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Selb getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Harald Brachvogel hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Reinhold Jadamowitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Issa Casillas skillfully saved the ball. Werner Bürsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Riessle in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Selb's Marcus Mandel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Werner Bürsch. That made the score 0-5 after 60 minutes of play. Marcus Mandel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Bürsch having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Ulf Riessle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Selb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 70th minute Wim Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Bürsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, FC Selb's Marcus Mandel made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Werner Bürsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wim Hägele might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Werner Bürsch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Hägele ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 played minutes Unterhaching got a freekick which was hit by Thorsten Sammert. If Wim Hägele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Marcus Mandel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Werner Bürsch, 0-8. In the 85th minute, Thorsten Sammert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Unterhaching's zone, Wim Hägele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Bürsch came out of the goal and Wim Hägele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Harald Brachvogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Selb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Brachvogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Ulf Riessle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Olaf Schulz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. When the match was over FC Selb could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Unterhaching throughout the match.
