To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian Riegel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. Fred Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Florian Riegel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fred Mendonças short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Florian Riegel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 93rd minute of the match, Reinhard Borkmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florian Riegel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match was over Hamburg City Vampires could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Türkiyem throughout the match.
