Fahrudin Zaidović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Kirchberger having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, Diamantino Brilhante notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Ameisenigel's Thomas Kirchberger. Thomas Kirchberger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Fahrudin Zaidović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilja Keute could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Thomas Kirchberger made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's goalkeeper Thomas Kirchberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilja Keute. After a rather tough play, FC Ameisenigel's Kornelius Schmorell got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Thomas Kirchberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efraim Sippel in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Diamantino Brilhante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Kirchberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Ameisenigel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Fahrudin Zaidović scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Kirchberger, making the score, 4-0. 44 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's goalkeeper Thomas Kirchberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diamantino Brilhante. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kornelius Schmorell to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Martinsson came free, but Thomas Kirchberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Kirchberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Brilhante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54thth minute of the game Fahrudin Zaidović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ameisenigel's Thomas Kirchberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kornelius Schmorell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Diamantino Brilhante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Kirchberger was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Brilhante in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Kirchberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Kirchberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Brilhante in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Diamantino Brilhante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Kirchberger was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Kornelius Schmorell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Fahrudin Zaidović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg's Ty Nölting got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Brilhante scored 6-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Kirchberger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fahrudin Zaidović might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Kirchberger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fahrudin Zaidović ran back to his position shaking his head. The 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg's Diamantino Brilhante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute, Walt Günther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ilja Keute managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilja Keute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
