After a rather tough play, SV Rittsteig's Hans Hangl got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SV Rittsteig's zone, Oliver Schörnig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Mann came out of the goal and Oliver Schörnig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Schörnig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Jost Nicolin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdul Dobinski during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SV Rittsteig booed when Mäusekicker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdul Dobinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Oliver Schörnig notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SV Rittsteig's Sebastian Mann. Sebastian Mann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Otto Helpenstein fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mäusekicker's protests and gave Otto Helpenstein a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Mäusekicker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Helpenstein to maneuver through the defense. Shawn Klenk's late challenge caught a Mäusekicker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shawn Klenk helped the player get up and apologised. Shawn Klenk hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Felix Steimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Bebstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jost Nicolin kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Mäusekicker got a freekick which was hit by Abdul Dobinski. Mäusekicker's Renke Noweck got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Steimer made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Emanuel Cisek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mäusekicker's Abdul Dobinski got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Abdul Dobinski off the ground. During the 64th minute of the match Hans Hangl completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hans Hangl a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Mäusekicker booed when SV Rittsteig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Hangl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jost Nicolin struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sebastian Mann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mäusekicker. 68 minutes into the match, SV Rittsteig's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Helpenstein came free, but Sebastian Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Schörnig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Mann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Schörnig in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Shawn Klenk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SV Rittsteig's Sebastian Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Schörnig in the 91st minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mäusekicker players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
