The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Galvão got free with Willi Wolters in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Müntefering came free, but Calvin Kuckhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Galvão in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willi Wolters saved THB Herrenalb from getting behind. Willi Wolters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Galvão in the 22nd minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Patrick Galvão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind THB Herrenalb's goalkeeper Willi Wolters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th play minute Lutz Holtzmann came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Calvin Kuckhoff. 3-1. Calvin Kuckhoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lutz Holtzmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Patrick Galvão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willi Wolters was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. West Staines Massive's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Helmuth Follmann in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as THB Herrenalb's Arne Stern slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calvin Kuckhoff. That made the score 3-2 after 92 minutes of play. The tension between the THB Herrenalb and the West Staines Massive players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, THB Herrenalb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacharias Schöbel to maneuver through the defense. West Staines Massive's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
