In the 13th minute Patrick Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Glöden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Patrick Galvão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Glöden was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Jakop Sveinlaugsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calvin Kuckhoff having to make a save. After a rather tough play, West Staines Massive's Anastasios Boukouvalas got a free kick in the 25th minute. Arne Rott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Calvin Kuckhoff made a huge save. Calvin Kuckhoff made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Xu Liang sent off a good shot on target. When Ali Tumena fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Toho's protests and gave Ali Tumena a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes FC Toho got a freekick which was hit by Ali Tumena. When West Staines Massive's Patrick Galvão in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Toho's goalie prevented a goal. West Staines Massive's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Helmuth Follmann in the 41st minute. Calvin Kuckhoff made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Feng Lin Jie sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Toho booed when West Staines Massive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Boukouvalas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Xu Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Kuckhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Galvão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobias Glöden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Galvão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Xu Liang took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calvin Kuckhoff. Calvin Kuckhoff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tobias Glöden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Galvão in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Weniger got free with Tobias Glöden in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as West Staines Massive's Michael Weniger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobias Glöden. That made the score 1-3 after 87 minutes of play. Patrick Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tobias Glöden made a huge save. Tobias Glöden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Weniger in the 95th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Toho's Tobias Glöden got control of the ball when Dan Rowell tried to sneak it across the goal line. The West Staines Massive supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing West Staines Massive would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
