The THB Herrenalb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willi Wolters should have stopped the shot. FC Toho's Jakop Sveinlaugsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ignatius Tilmann, made in the 16th minute of the game. After 18 minutes of play, FC Toho's Xu Liang made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willi Wolters was left in no man's land by his defense there! Willi Wolters made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Xu Liang sent off a good shot on target. If Xu Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xu Liang might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willi Wolters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xu Liang ran back to his position shaking his head. Willi Wolters was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kristof Dülberg. Xu Liang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willi Wolters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, FC Toho's Xu Liang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Willi Wolters. Willi Wolters yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save THB Herrenalb from getting a goal against them. Xu Liang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Willi Wolters skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

THB Herrenalb's Lutz Holtzmann was substituted for Moritz Riemer. FC Toho's Bülent Kaupa was substituted for Qi Sang Xiang. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xu Liang to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Klaus Schultz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Glöden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Xu Liang notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters.
