Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Willi Reutter took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lex Punke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Untermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willi Reutter, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Bruno Untermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Nunes in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Give Peace a Chance were awarded a corner. Lex Punke went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16thth minute of the game Mattias Hilger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Give Peace a Chance were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Blau Weiß Sauerland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lex Punke took the corner. The corner led Give Peace a Chance's Lex Punke to fire away a dangerous shot which Uwe Kuhni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bruno Untermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Pingel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Bongartz took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Untermann. Bruno Untermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lu Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uwe Kuhni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Give Peace a Chance's Werner Zernicke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uwe Kuhni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blau Weiß Sauerland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lex Punke was slow to take the kick. During this time Give Peace a Chance's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Odilo Pusch managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lex Punke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Uwe Kuhni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Blau Weiß Sauerland booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner Zernicke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvester Schwede in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uwe Kuhni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mattias Hilger made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Mattias Hilger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 52 minutes Blau Weiß Sauerland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lex Punke who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Give Peace a Chance's corner Lex Punke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Uwe Kuhni quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th minute, Willi Reutter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Give Peace a Chance's Mattias Hilger got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Give Peace a Chance's zone, Adam Pingel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Untermann came out of the goal and Adam Pingel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goalkeeper Bruno Untermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Bongartz. In the 75th minute, Hinrich Heinzmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Lex Punke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Kuhni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mattias Hilger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uwe Kuhni was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 80 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Give Peace a Chance's Mattias Hilger fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Hilger in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Kuhni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Give Peace a Chance's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lex Punke in the 84th minute. Lu Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uwe Kuhni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Hilger in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Give Peace a Chance fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blau Weiß Sauerland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
