Henning Heringer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Heremans in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Backes came free, but Henning Heringer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Heringer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudius Marsching, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 14 minutes into the match, 巩翔傲 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas. Siim Kikas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henning Heringer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudius Marsching, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Henning Heringer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Heremans in the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Erwin Backes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Heringer was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Henning Heringer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Backes came free, but Henning Heringer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselm Neuhäuser made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Claudius Marsching however managed to control. Evert Heremans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Heringer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of De Gulden Draak booed when PoznanGalaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute De Gulden Draak were awarded a corner. Anselm Neuhäuser went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Anselm Neuhäuser almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer did a great save. Anselm Neuhäuser's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Henning Heringer - 1-1 was put on the score board in the 44th minute. Erwin Backes scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henning Heringer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 巩翔傲 to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, 巩翔傲 managed to get in a good position for a shot. PoznanGalaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but 巩翔傲 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siim Kikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, De Gulden Draak's Henning Heringer threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudius Marsching, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 61 played minutes De Gulden Draak got a freekick which was hit by Anselm Neuhäuser. PoznanGalaxy made a substitution. Luis Piepenburg replaced Obbo Tippelt. After a rather tough play, De Gulden Draak's Anselm Neuhäuser got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in De Gulden Draak's zone, Peter Grommers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siim Kikas came out of the goal and Peter Grommers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Piepenburg in the 66th minute of play. PoznanGalaxy's Peter Grommers got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's Manuel Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Heringer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PoznanGalaxy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Grommers in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Oalo Kara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Siim Kikas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 巩翔傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Grommers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siim Kikas having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
