Jozef Pašek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Oldřich Michel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jozef Pašek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Politz getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Miroslav Selinger hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeroným Klučka in the 13th minute of play forced Politz's goalkeeper Mario Jiskra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Politz's Michal Kvasnička sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jozef Pašek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jozef Pašek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Kvasnička, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Politz got a corner. FK Debrece's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Krampera ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Politz's corner Marco Krampera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jozef Pašek quite easily take care of the ball. In the 30th minute, FK Debrece's Roman Chrástek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Marco Krampera kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. FK Debrece's Lubomír Chlumský couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Politz. Jeroným Klučkas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Mario Jiskra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Politz getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Miroslav Selinger hit a great ball. FK Debrece's Alexandr Kaňovský got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Jiskra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandr Kaňovský, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Alexandr Kaňovský got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandr Kaňovský to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Politz's Petr Rybáček got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeroným Klučka in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Jiskra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Politz's Karel Sloup got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, Jeroným Klučka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Jiskra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandr Kaňovský in the 85th minute of play. Alexandr Kaňovský recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Jiskra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeroným Klučka in the 89th minute of play. Michal Kvasnička received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jozef Pašek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oldřich Michel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jozef Pašek made a huge save. Václav Kmoch kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Oldřich Michel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Pašek having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Politz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FK Debrece.
