Hubert Chadim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Petr Slavíček tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Espenthor getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Petr Čížek hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, FC Petroupim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bíba to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Petroupim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jiří Vašíček was slow to take the kick. During this time Espenthor's players had a chance to rest. Petr Slavíček showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Chadim, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Richard Heinz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Espenthor booed when FC Petroupim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Sucharda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Koutný struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Imrich Nevrkla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espenthor. In the 33rd minute, FC Petroupim's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Viktor Koutný fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, FC Petroupim's Imrich Nevrkla got control of the ball when Viktor Koutný tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radim Zadina in the 37th minute of play forced FC Petroupim's goalkeeper Imrich Nevrkla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, FC Petroupim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bíba to maneuver through the defense. Imrich Nevrkla made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Viktor Koutný sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Espenthor booed when FC Petroupim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Heinz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Radim Zadina came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Espenthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radim Zadina couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hubert Chadim made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Viktor Koutný shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imrich Nevrkla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Petroupim's Hubert Chadim got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Espenthor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikita Mičan to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Koutný fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Imrich Nevrkla having to interfere. Jiří Vašíček hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Viktor Koutný had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radim Zadina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Imrich Nevrkla having to interfere. Jiří Vašíček's late challenge caught a FC Petroupim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jiří Vašíček helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Espenthor getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jiří Vašíček hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Espenthor's goalkeeper Petr Slavíček had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helmut Fikar. 93 minutes into the match, FC Petroupim's goal looked a bit too open when Radim Zadina came free, but Imrich Nevrkla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Radim Zadina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Petroupim's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
