An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Szabó in the 27th minute of play forced SK Budakov's goalkeeper Tomáš Kučera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Honzík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimír Umlauf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pavel Weber. FK Prosznitz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Budakov's goalkeeper Tomáš Kučera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karel Černovský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Weber having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Honzík stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Honzík's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavel Weber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Pavel Weber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Honzík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Marco Borovský's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Kučera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SK Budakov eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
