Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Menik's Ladislav Šícha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Ladislav Šícha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zbyšek Tomek might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bedřich Kostiha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyšek Tomek ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of SK Tetcineves booed when Menik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Krajíček didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyšek Tomek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bedřich Kostiha made a huge save. Bedřich Kostiha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Mrkvica, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 13 played minutes Menik got a freekick which was hit by Robin Malínský. Menik's Bedřich Kostiha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Menik from getting a goal against them. Ludovít Pichl hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Zbyšek Tomek managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Tetcineves's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyšek Tomek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bedřich Kostiha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SK Tetcineves fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when SK Tetcineves's Tomáš Mrkvica looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alexander Krajíček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Marko having to interfere. Ladislav Šícha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Milan Marko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Bořivoj Komenda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bořivoj Komenda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedřich Kostiha was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Tomáš Mrkvica capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomáš Mrkvica really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 37th minute, Tomáš Mrkvica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbyšek Tomek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Bedřich Kostiha made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bořivoj Komenda in the 46th minute of play forced SK Tetcineves's goalkeeper Milan Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Menik's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zbyšek Tomek fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Ladislav Šícha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milan Marko made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Bořivoj Komenda sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, one of SK Tetcineves:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bedřich Kostiha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Mrkvica, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Zbyšek Blatný charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zbyšek Blatný the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zbyšek Blatný hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. SK Tetcineves's Milan Marko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SK Tetcineves from getting a goal against them. Zbyšek Tomek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Menik's Bedřich Kostiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyšek Tomek in the 74th minute of play. Bořivoj Komenda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bořivoj Komenda got free with Milan Marko in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Ladislav Šícha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Milan Marko, 2-4. After 90 minutes, Ludovít Pichl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menik and the SK Tetcineves players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Menik getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ludovít Pichl hit a great ball. If Zbyšek Tomek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bedřich Kostiha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyšek Tomek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Menik walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
