Radim Lédl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Mynář, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Radim Lédl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Mynář in the 9th minute of the match. FK Mladá Boleslav's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Mynář was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, FK Gambrinus's Saša Holman got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Filip Mynář ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radim Lédl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. František Toufar struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Petr Nykodým didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Mladá Boleslav. Radim Lédl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Mynář's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Filip Mynář might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radim Lédl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Mynář ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Mynář in the 47th minute of play forced FK Mladá Boleslav's goalkeeper Radim Lédl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oldřich Smíšek made a kick off. If Filip Mynář had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 51 in the game by Vitalij Martynek from a close distance when the talented Radim Lédl managed to make a qualified save. FK Mladá Boleslav's players were relieved. Vitalij Martynek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radim Lédl having to interfere. FK Mladá Boleslav's Arnold Vlček got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Oldřich Smíšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petr Nykodým was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Vitalij Martynek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radim Lédl made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Vitalij Martynek sent off a good shot on target. After 92 played minutes Filip Mynář rounded FK Mladá Boleslav's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Thanks to some nice moves Vitalij Martynek could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Radim Lédl however easily saved by the left post.
