An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryštof Frič in the 3rd minute of play forced Stupna's goalkeeper Tomáš Glogar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomáš Glogar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radmil Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kryštof Frič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tomáš Glogar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wraťáky 1980's Pavel Tomko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Wraťáky 1980 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kryštof Frič in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomáš Glogar saved Stupna from getting behind. When Leon Mucha came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Stupna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Mucha couldn't finish the play. Pavel Tomko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludovít Čurda in the 28th minute of the match. Leon Mucha spun around in front of the goal 47 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Wraťáky 1980's goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radmil Schmidt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Stupna's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kryštof Frič fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wraťáky 1980 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
