Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Josef Kroulík got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Josef Kroulík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Voborník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Kroulík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Vladimír Voborník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimír Voborník stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimír Bezděk's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Miroslav Dittrich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ernest Zelenka made a huge save. Miroslav Dittrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ernest Zelenka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimír Voborník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimír Bezděk, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Miroslav Dittrich came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernest Zelenka could save by the left post. Ernest Zelenka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Keprt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, AC Sparta Praha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Pavelec to maneuver through the defense. Svatomír Bubla, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Josef Keprt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernest Zelenka, 1-0. Josef Keprt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Modrec's zone, Josef Kroulík stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimír Voborník came out of the goal and Josef Kroulík tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdeněk Heřmánek during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Modrec getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Zdeněk Heřmánek hit a great ball. Vladimír Voborník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Kroulík, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josef Keprt made a kick off. If Miroslav Dittrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miroslav Dittrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ernest Zelenka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC Sparta Praha's Ernest Zelenka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Keprt in the 60th minute of play. Ernest Zelenka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Dittrich in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Jakub Nesnídal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Modrec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Sparta Praha the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Modrec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Nesnídal to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes AC Sparta Praha got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslav Mařík. Josef Keprt might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Zelenka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Keprt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th match minute, AC Sparta Praha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Pavelec to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Zelenka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Dittrich in the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of AC Sparta Praha booed when Modrec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimír Smola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimír Smola kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Arpád Vysoký mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Sparta Praha and the Modrec players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Sparta Praha's Arpád Vysoký got a free kick in the 83rd minute. AC Sparta Praha's Jaroslav Mařík suffered a sprained foot after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Josef Keprt charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Keprt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josef Keprt hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Modrec's Jakub Nesnídal got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Josef Keprt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modrec's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
