The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Plass booed when AC Sparta Praha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Mojžíš didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, AC Sparta Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Fedor came free, but Ernest Zelenka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Milan Pavelec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Josef Fedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Zelenka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Plass's Tobias Střecha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Kroulík in the 26th minute of play. In the 48thth minute of the game Radomír Žiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Sparta Praha's Ernest Zelenka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The AC Sparta Praha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Plass were winning 0-2.

Josef Fedor might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Zelenka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Fedor ran back to his position shaking his head. Radomír Žiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Josef Fedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, AC Sparta Praha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Pavelec to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Ernest Zelenka managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when FC Plass's Josef Fedor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Josef Fedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ernest Zelenka made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Radomír Žiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Plass's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Sparta Praha the free kick. Radomír Žiga kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match.
