In the 4th minute, Stanislav Pek made a precise shot to the right of Vladimír Voborník. Modrec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Mosna's goalkeeper Maxmilian Skoumal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miroslav Dittrich. Josef Keprt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Zdeněk Plichta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Modrec the free kick. 12 minutes into the game, one of Mosna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maxmilian Skoumal went to the wrong direction when Svatomír Bubla was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Mosna's Dominik Wágner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimír Voborník made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Josef Keprt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Maleňák charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavel Maleňák the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Mosna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branislav Miksa to maneuver through the defense. Dominik Wágner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimír Voborník having to interfere. Maxmilian Skoumal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. A collision led to Modrec getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Zdeněk Teplý hit a great ball. When Miroslav Dittrich came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Modrec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Dittrich couldn't finish the play. After the first half Mosna were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislav Pek to make the kick off. When Stanislav Pek came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mosna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Pek couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Modrec's Jakub Nesnídal got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Mosna's Ondřej Berki broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stefan Zach charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Zach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 70 minutes, Josef Keprt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Modrec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Keprt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Miroslav Dittrich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Modrec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Vladimír Voborník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Pek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dominik Wágner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Josef Keprt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxmilian Skoumal. Mosna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josef Keprt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Mosna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
