The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miroslav Švábenský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleš Broulík, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Martin Otruba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Pecha in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Pecha in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Otruba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Vokov's goal looked a bit too open when Aleš Broulík came free, but Miroslav Švábenský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcel Pecha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the AC Motorkaři defense, František Čuřík kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Otruba. The AC Motorkaři fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Otruba should have stopped the shot. Martin Otruba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Pecha in the 21st minute of play. If František Čuřík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Otruba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Pecha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcel Pecha came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Vokov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Pecha couldn't finish the play. Martin Otruba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from František Čuřík in the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleš Broulík during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vokov booed when AC Motorkaři was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleš Broulík didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcel Pecha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers František Čuřík in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Otruba saved AC Motorkaři from getting behind. Martin Otruba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but František Čuřík showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. If Petr Koukal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Pecha got free with Martin Otruba in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The tension between the AC Motorkaři and the Vokov players grew even worse after the yellow card.
