After 6 played minutes Sterndorf got a freekick which was hit by Roman Snopek. Vratislav Votruba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ota Janek in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Jiří Kalous hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítek Svatý fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vratislav Votruba having to interfere. Pavel Velčovský was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marek Choutka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Marek Choutka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Velčovský having to interfere. Bořivoj Kysilka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Pavel Velčovský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marek Choutka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Marek Choutka fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 37 minutes into the match, Roman Snopek notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SK Královská Bouda's Vratislav Votruba. Vratislav Votruba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, SK Královská Bouda's Marek Choutka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Velčovský narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SK Královská Bouda's Marek Choutka got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Choutka to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Sterndorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimír Ryšánek to maneuver through the defense. Vratislav Votruba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Snopek in the 55th minute of the match. Vítek Svatý sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Roman Snopek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vratislav Votruba. That made the score 2-2 in the 77 minute of play. Josef Schovanec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vratislav Votruba came out and tried to block the shot, but Josef Schovanec slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítek Svatý got free with Vratislav Votruba in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Roman Snopek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vratislav Votruba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, SK Královská Bouda's goalkeeper Vratislav Votruba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítek Svatý. 92 minutes into the game, Petr Knespl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sterndorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Královská Bouda the free kick. The supporters of SK Královská Bouda booed when Sterndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petr Knespl didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sterndorf eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
