Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roman Snopek made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Sterndorf's Dragan Smitka got a free kick in the 10th minute. Pavel Velčovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonín Schovanec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimír Kozumplík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Snopek in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Martin Kratochvíl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavel Velčovský was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ota Janek hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Podhaji's Vladimír Kozumplík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Snopek in the 27th minute of play. Vítek Svatý fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimír Kozumplík having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Sterndorf's Roman Snopek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimír Kozumplík narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roman Snopek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimír Kozumplík read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Vítek Svatý could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Vladimír Kozumplík made a huge save. After 40 minutes Podhaji's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dragan Smitka who took care of the corner kick. Roman Snopek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vladimír Kozumplík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sterndorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dragan Smitka in the 50th minute. Dragan Smitka made a great header on Sterndorf's corner, it was just that Podhaji's Vladimír Kozumplík managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Kratochvíl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bohuš Flieger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pavel Velčovský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonín Schovanec got free with Pavel Velčovský in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Podhaji defense, Roman Snopek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimír Kozumplík. The Podhaji fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimír Kozumplík should have stopped the shot. Martin Kratochvíl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sterndorf's Vítek Svatý got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Snopek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vladimír Kozumplík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match Pavel Břicháček sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimír Kozumplík skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Josef Schovanec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sterndorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Schovanec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Vítek Svatý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Kozumplík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vítek Svatý's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimír Kozumplík was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Antonín Schovanec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sterndorf's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
