But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pravoslav Pilař couldn't finish the play. Ivo Cihlář was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tadeáš Lochman. FC Apple's Pravoslav Pilař got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 49th minute, FC Apple's Pravoslav Pilař ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivo Cihlář. Ivo Cihlář yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a left leg Ivo Cihlář saved SK Bukovinka from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
