The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Toman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Roman Toman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Václav Zdeněk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC HORONI getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pavel Horníček hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Tesetice's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Mára came free, but Rudolf Silný reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Václav Zdeněk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivoš Klimeš, passed just outside the right post. If Pavel Mára had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lubomír Fedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Silný having to interfere. Ivoš Klimeš made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Karel Míča sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Václav Zdeněk in the 48th minute of play forced FC HORONI's goalkeeper Ivoš Klimeš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lubomír Fedor to strike the kick off in the second half. Lubomír Fedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Silný having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jiří Otradovec managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC HORONI's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiří Otradovec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Silný breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Václav Zdeněk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Mára who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Rudolf Silný when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 66 in the game by Lubomír Fedor from a close distance when the talented Rudolf Silný managed to make a qualified save. Tesetice's players were relieved. Karel Míča sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karel Míča had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lubomír Fedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Silný having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lubomír Fedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Silný was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. A collision led to FC HORONI getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Pavel Horníček hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC HORONI eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
