The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brankowitz's Jan Spurný played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiří Vinklárek in the 8th minute of play. Pavel Návrat struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jan Spurný didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruzovice FC. Jiří Vinklárek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Spurný came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Bruzovice FC's Ladislav Buš. But to his dismay, Ladislav Buš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Josef Uhlíř managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruzovice FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Uhlíř was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Hradil in the 21st minute of play forced Bruzovice FC's goalkeeper Jaromír Glos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Spurný showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Buš, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jiří Vinklárek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Michal Hradil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislav Buš struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jan Spurný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Buš in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Bruzovice FC's Ladislav Buš nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Spurný made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Bruzovice FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Hradil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ladislav Buš's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Spurný read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bruzovice FC's zone, Lubomír Linhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaromír Glos came out of the goal and Lubomír Linhart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Pavel Návrat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Bruzovice FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Návrat. In the 56th minute, František Chmelař sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bruzovice FC's Jaromír Glos didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josef Kára during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brankowitz's Fedor Pobořil got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josef Kára got free with Jan Spurný in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bruzovice FC's Pavel Návrat in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brankowitz's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th minute of the game, Valter Kalaš landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ladislav Buš's late challenge caught a Brankowitz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislav Buš helped the player get up and apologised. Ladislav Buš kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislav Buš in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Spurný saved Brankowitz from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Pavel Návrat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jiří Vinklárek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Návrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lubomír Linhart fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brankowitz's protests and gave Lubomír Linhart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Josef Kára got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josef Kára received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Spurný came out and tried to block the shot, but Josef Kára slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 91st minute. Bruzovice FC played a much better game than Brankowitz and deserved their victory. The Brankowitz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
