With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimír Mašín in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Spurný saved Brankowitz from getting behind. Jan Spurný didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kriby. In the 13th match minute, Brankowitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evžen Svozil to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Vladimír Mašín managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kriby's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimír Mašín was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Spurný breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fedor Pobořil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jiří Sokol. Kriby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Emanuel Bořil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Sebastian Hložek in the 23rd minute really tested Jan Spurný's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 24th minute, Vladimír Mašín got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oldřich Máslo scored 0-1 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jiří Sokol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 63rd minute, Vladimír Mašín got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Spurný prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
