Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Hosnedl ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Maxdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Žáček came free, but Lumír Císař reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lumír Císař showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horymír Hromádka in the 7th minute of the match. Josef Žáček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lumír Císař having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Horymír Hromádka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxdorf's Radovan Halamka got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Horymír Hromádka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladislav Návrat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Pondělíček. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. If Ladislav Návrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalimil Pravda kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rostislav Velecký hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Maxdorf's Miloslav Kubásek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Karhule's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislav Návrat came free, but Ivan Pondělíček reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Pondělíček showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislav Návrat in the 35th minute of the match. Karhule's Ivan Pondělíček proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Karhule from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislav Návrat was the one to do the kick off. Josef Žáček who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Lumír Císař when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Návrat in the 64th minute of play forced Karhule's goalkeeper Ivan Pondělíček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Pondělíček showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Návrat, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Martin Metelka fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karhule's protests and gave Martin Metelka a yellow card for diving instead. 68 minutes into the game, one of Karhule:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Martin Hosnedl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Pondělíček having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Ladislav Návrat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislav Návrat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lumír Císař made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horymír Hromádka in the 82nd minute of play. Horymír Hromádka hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maxdorf had won after a very even match.
